My wife was overseas again in November of 2021 and I went to Aargareezem again for a very brief visit. I got tuck in traffic in Hawara (and ws absolutely fine) and had only a few minutes at Givat Olam efore the park staff closed up. But it was both amazing and sufficient. 😀

We now no longer have a car & don't know when we'll get one so even if the opportunity presented itself I would hve to take a bus to Har Bracha & walk. I don't think I would want to drive through Hawara now anyway.

I occasionally text my Shamer friend. I have tehina in the fridge always & of course have the little piece of Givat Olam that I carry around in my pocket always.

I wonder if my wife thinks that my relationship was a passing phase that has faded. It wasn't & it hasn't, not at all. But since I know how she feels, I do not raise the subject, ever. I have faith in Shema & know that His will must be done.

It is not how I want to serve Him but about how He wants me to serve Him and I know that means being my wife's husband and that means being an orthodox Jew. So I keep Aarareezem deep, deep in my heart; Shema knows it's there & that is sufficient.
